Empowering the Next Generation of Leaders

The Faith & Education Ministry of The Abyssinian Baptist Church was formalized in 2023 to empower young people through the lens of faith, purpose, and education. Rooted in Christian values and the transformative power of knowledge, the ministry provides students with resources, mentorship, and exposure to career and educational pathways that reflect today’s youth experience.
As we embark on our third year, we are proud to establish the Calvin O. Butts III Community District 5 Scholarship — honoring our beloved late pastor, whose life and ministry embodied the sacred union of faith, intellect, and service.
