Aby Kidz, the children and youth ministry of The Abyssinian Baptist Church, nurtures faith, builds character, expands culture, creates community, and shares God’s love with children in a fun and engaging way.

As a volunteer, you can serve in areas such as teaching, registration, food service, hospitality, worship arts, classroom support, and special events. Whether weekly or occasionally, your time and gifts will help children grow in their walk with Christ.

FAQ'S

We help children grow in four key spiritual habits: spending time with God, building relationships with others, using their unique gifts, and sharing their personal faith stories. These habits are rooted in the Bible—what we believe to be the most incredible book ever written. Through fun, hands-on activities and meaningful conversations, we bring its stories to life in a way that keeps kids curious, connected, and excited about God’s Word.

To check your child in, we’ll need a few basic details from you: a parent or guardian’s name, your child’s name and birthday, your address, phone number, and any special instructions we should know about. We recognize that every child is unique, so please feel free to share anything that will help us care for your child in the best possible way. Register in advance HERE.
