Reverend Dr. Kevin R. Johnson

Senior Pastor, The Abyssinian Baptist Church

The 21st Senior Pastor of Abyssinian, succeeding the late Rev. Dr. Calvin O. Butts, III. A Morehouse College and Union Theological Seminary graduate with a Doctor of Education from Columbia University, Dr. Johnson previously founded Dare to Imagine Church in Philadelphia, growing it from 20 to 1,500 members. His voice reaches 400,000 listeners weekly on WDAS-FM, and he has been featured on CNN, NBC, MSNBC, ABC, and FOX News.

Dr. Michael Eric Dyson

Author, Scholar & Preacher · Vanderbilt University

One of the nation's most renowned professors, preachers, and public intellectuals. A Distinguished University Professor at Vanderbilt with a PhD in Religion from Princeton, Dr. Dyson is the author of more than 25 books, including seven New York Times bestsellers. A preacher for 40 years, he is a familiar and beloved voice in the Abyssinian pulpit and a regular presence on NPR, MSNBC, and CNN.

Founder & CEO, Getting to Greater Global

Educator, visionary leader, and consummate change agent. The first woman President of New York Theological Seminary, Dr. Walrond served twenty years as Executive Pastor, Chief of Staff, and Preaching Pastor of First Corinthian Baptist Church in Harlem. A Spelman College and Union Theological Seminary graduate with a PhD from UNC Chapel Hill, she now leads Getting to Greater Global, empowering women worldwide.

She is the two-time published author of God Wants You to Be the Man and So Does She and Power Up for the God Challenge, and holds a Doctor of Ministry from Missio Seminary.

Rev. Dr. Lisa M. Weaver

Interim Campus Pastor & Pastoral Scholar-in-Residence, Belmont University

A native New Yorker previously serving as Executive Minister at The Riverside Church in New York City, Dr. Weaver has taught at Howard University, Columbia University, and Emory University. She holds a PhD in Liturgical Studies and Sacramental Theology from The Catholic University of America.
