God First

Tithing is about trust. When we tithe, we acknowledge that everything we have comes from God, and we’re putting Him first in our finances. It’s an act of faith that demonstrates our belief that God is our provider. It also supports the church’s mission and ministry in our community and beyond.

A tithe is specifically the first 10% of your income that you give to God through your local church. An offering is anything you give beyond your tithe. Both are acts of worship, but tithing is the biblical starting point for giving.

To participate, sign up using the form below, commit to giving 10% of your income to Abyssinian Church for 90 days, attend our Wednesday night teachings, and share your testimony along the way.

Our church provides quarterly giving statements that track your contributions. You’ll receive updates on your giving throughout the challenge. However, this challenge is between you and God – we trust that you’re honoring your commitment.

When you tithe, you can experience spiritual growth, freedom from financial anxiety, and the joy of partnering with God in His work. Many who tithe report a greater sense of peace about their finances and experience God’s provision in unexpected ways.
