Christian Social Concern
Abyssinian Baptist Church has a rich history in activism and believes that advocating for social justice is part of a Christian’s duty. God expects the church to be a voice against injustice and inequity in the world, and He also wants us to work toward ensuring justice for the oppressed. This ministry presents programming that heightens awareness of local, national and worldwide socio-political issues. Through the Ministry of Christian Social Concern, advocates, policy makers, experts, and other social justice leaders convene for discussions and forums.
