Women Walking In Truth: True To Our God, True To Our Native Land

“If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:31-32 [NIV]
Attire/Colors for 2008 Women’s Day: Black attire with brass Abyssinian cross and red shawl.

The Women’s Ministry vision is to see women set free to a lifestyle of God’s grace.

The goals of Abyssinian’s Women’s Ministry include:

  • To spread the love of God and to create mechanisms by which the women of Abyssinian may form closer bonds.
  • To cultivate a more inclusive fellowship by reaching out aggressively to new female members.
  • To strengthen ALL women spiritually – single, married, young, senior citizens, long-time members, and new members.
  • To support, nurture and celebrate our children.
  • To reach out and fellowship with other churches.
  • To reach out to the Harlem community and save souls, including newly released female prisoners.
  • To encourage the giving of tithes and raise money for Abyssinian so that we may win more souls for Christ.
