Mondays, 12-1pm-Ongoing
Monday Afternoon Bible Class
Instructor: Reverend Joshua Bartholomew
This midday class offers an ongoing, in-depth study of biblical characters, themes, and liturgical seasons. Light lunch is served. All are welcome to join.

Mondays, 6-7:30pm (begins Monday, April 4th)
Bible Basics 102: The Blessing Blockers
Instructor: Sister Pamela Mason
Are you free from the bondage of fear, doubt and worry? Jesus said He came to set the captives free. If you believe that a Christian’s heart, thought, life and speech can foster an intimate relationship with God, you won’t want to miss The Blessing Blockers. This course is an extension of Bible Basics 101. Join us as we seek spiritual growth by conditioning our hearts, trading in our thoughts for the thoughts of God and learning to speak what God speaks in His Word.

Wednesdays, 8:15-9:30pm (begins Wednesday, April 6th)
PREACH! A Sermon Talk-Back
Instructor: Reverend Nicholas S. Richards
This class will examine the theological, philosophical and literary devices used in six different sermons. Described as “truth through personality,” preaching, at its height, communicates the grand mysteries of God to God’s people, in a manner consistent with their lived experiences. There are often several moves in a given sermon which guides it from introduction to the “close”; students of this course will leave with an enriched appreciation for the power and glory of the written and spoken word! We will listen to, watch and read sermons, studying how “homileticians” aka Preachers incorporate various tools in the design and delivery of a sermon

Fridays, 7-8:15pm (begins Friday, April 29th)
CROSS Examinations – “Thank God It’s Friday” Joshua Ministry
Instructor: Rev. Dr. E. Marshall Turman
Must Jesus Bear the cross alone? In our contemporary society it is quite unfortunate that there are more Christians concerned with climbing the ladder of success than clinging to the “old rugged cross.” Self-satisfaction and self-fulfillment have replaced sacrifice and self-denial. In this 4-week post-Easter study, students will be guided in examining the primary symbol of Christian faith, the cross, not only as a symbol of salvation, but as a call to discipleship.
