Christian Education Opportunities for Youth

SUNDAYS, 9:00 AM– 11:00 AM: SUNDAY SCHOOL

The Abyssinian Sunday School offers classes for children and youth ages 2-17. Children ages 2-5 meet every Sunday in the 1^st Floor Beginners Nursery during the 9am and 11am Worship Services. Youth in grades 1-12 meet every Sunday in the Vestry at 9am.  Breakfast is served every Sunday and registration is ongoing.

SUNDAYS, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM: JUNIOR CHURCH

Youth in grades 1-12 are invited to worship in Junior Church every Sunday.  The Junior Church convenes in the Vestry at 11AM and provides Abyssinian youth to learn the fundamentals of Baptist praise & worship, to participate as worship leaders, and to engage the Gospel of Jesus Christ in ways that are exciting and relevant to their experiences as 21^st century youth.  A light lunch is served.

FRIDAYS, 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM: “IN THE WORD” TEEN BIBLE STUDY

Teen Bible Study meets every Friday at 6:30pm. This class is facilitated by Abyssinian’s Youth Minister Joshua Bartholomew and serves as an additional opportunity for teens (12-17) to study the Word of God.  Bring your Bible & a friend!!!
