The Abyssinian Baptist Church Mission Statement

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.

The mission of The Abyssinian Baptist Church is to win more souls for Christ through evangelism, pastoral care, Christian education, social service delivery, and community development.

Abyssinian is on a mission to win more souls for Christ. Our goal is to grow a membership that is educated in the Word of God and has a strong relationship with Christ. Personal spiritual growth is very important to us, and we have adopted a vision program to enhance our membership and pastoral services. Thus, it is our prayer that our members will spread the Gospel message and be disciples of Jesus in their homes, jobs, communities, and church. We want to change the world by changing hearts and lives to love the Lord, our Savior, Jesus Christ.
